Baring Group has recently completed a share issue of NOK 24 million. The participants in the issue were Ugland Kapital, Thor Hushovd, Bøttger Invest and Nieblok Invest. The company's main shareholder is Atlanter Holding. Baring Farsund has a license and approval to produce 24,000 tonnes of mail smolt/food fish from salmon in Farsund municipality. The Baring Group consists of the companies Baring Farsund and Baring Ocean. The plan for Baring Farsund is to start construction of the first construction phase during 2023. The first construction phase consists of an annual production of approximately 5,000 tonnes of post smolt for sale, according to a press release.
